Ask myself before making a purchase?
Before you buy something, ask yourself the following questions:
1. Do I need it?
2. How many do I already have?
3. How much will I use it?
4. How long will it last?
5. Is there anything that I already own that I can substitute for it?
6. Can I do without it?
7. Am I able to clean and maintain it myself?
8. Will I be able to repair it?
9. Have I researched it to get the best quality for the best price?
10. Are the resources that went into it renewable or nonrenewable?
11. Is it made of recycled material, and is it recyclable?
